Yummy burger and fries. Homemade patties are the best. Cheesecake was ok. Fries were delicious.
First time here! The truffle fries were amazing!!!! The beets burger was really really good! And the black bean burger was also delicious! Food didn't take long at all! So filling and fresh! The owner is extremely nice and puts a lot of work into her food!
Had the fried oyster mushroom Po boy. Pretty expensive sandwich but it was delicious. Will definitely be back.
OH MY! I left California after 24 years (for obvious reasons--the place is sinking into a liberal oblivion). While driving on my way back to my homestate of Kansas, I found Vegan Crave through google maps and was pleasantly surprised! https://www.vegancravebb.com/ The outdoor courtyard for this collection of hip shops and cafes is amazing. Teeshia made me the most delicious vegan bean burger stacked high with all the tasty flavors included. She made it a point to create a very special burger which is so refreshing to find in the midwest. She is well educated and aware of the importance of healthy food ingredients and gave me a very special welcome along with one of the best smiles ever! Thank Teeshia! Great service! Got to meet the woman who runs the biz and she shared all about her love for the homemade recipes for the vegan sliders. I got the beet burger and it was delicious. Much larger then a typical slider, I'd say it's a whole burger. Fresh dressings on the burger. Ate in the courtyard of the iron district.
My daughter and I split the jackfruit nachos, the Love burger and a giant slice of strawberry cheesecake last night. OMG! I couldn't eat the nachos fast enough. The burger was perfect comfort food and the flavors were outstanding together! I love it! But, can we talk about the strawberry cheesecake for a second? I make cheesecake. I love a good cheesecake! But this....was shockingly great. It was a slice of heaven in my mouth. I don't know what I was expecting. Well..that's not true. I expected it to be ok. But I was wrong. I now have visions of cheesecake dancing in my head. Already contemplating going back next week, and the next to try all the flavors. Key lime is next. Do yourself a favor, even if you don't eat vegan, try Vegan Crave. Treat yourself to some serious yumminess! Support local!
Omg yum. We tried the oyster mushroom po boy and it is absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Would definitely come back. The sauce that comes with the fries is also delicious - don't miss it.
Teeshia has got it goin on! If this was the music biz, she'd be platinum, BUT it's the food business, so it won't surprise me when she earns top accolades and awards in food... she and Vegan Crave are worthy of Michelin recognition. Vegan Crave is inside the Iron District. A cute, fun, outdoor shipping container venue offering various foods, drinks and small shops in downtown North KC. I opted for the Love Beet Burger (no bun). I was wowed. What a powerful combination of beet, kale and carrot for a patty. The avocado spread was super fresh and the spring mix crisp. Normally I don't go for cheese on any type of patty/burger because I can never taste it (seems pointless to me); however, I didn't alter my order here (except for no bun) and I'm glad I didn't. The cheese was so gooey and I tasted it in every bite. The pickles are bread & butter style, so there is a bit of sweetness and tanginess in every bite too. I can't wait to return!!! Teeshia is genius or magic... idk which one, but she's something extraordinary. And can't forget to mention this is a female black-owned business... so get here asap and support this vegan power house of Teeshia's. The only thing you'll regret is that you'll never want to eat anywhere else.

She had me get the Peace Portobello Mushroom Burger..made with DICED!! Portobellos added TO the Black Beans, and Broccoli base (Adds Juiciness!!)..and SECRET SEASONINGS!!..etc. CCCRRRUUNCHY!!.. Spring Greens, Red Onions, "Follow Your Heart" Provolone "Cheese"..HOMEMADE MAYO..Pickles.. TOASTED BRIOCHE BUN..OMG!!!..Lots of other GREAT Items Too.. AND!!.. Homemade Sweets...GO THERE!!!.. WILL FILL YOU UP!!
I've been wanting to try Vegan Crave for ages, so when they opened a location in Iron District I knew I had to go. It's been hard for me to find a time to stop by due to the hours, but finally I was able to go with a group of friends on a Friday evening. We tried a few different burgers amongst us, and altogether it was a hit (though messy, fair warning). Everything tasted amazing, and the service was super accommodating. I hope this location will allow more people access to these bomb burgers; it's definitely worth a visit!
